Is it true that SLR/DSLR users dun use full auto mode?

Being all the control freaks we are, I think its always better to have an element of control rather than to let that chip take full control and let that computer decide what YOU want right? :D I goto work everyday, getting controlled and ordered by bosses. The last thing I'd want in my spare...

Is it true that SLR/DSLR users dun use full auto mode?

These are the patriotic folks that drive our economy and domestic spending which in a way, isn't such a bad idea after all.

    Wanting to learn cooking...

For a start, you can start off by learning how to: 1) Chop veggies 2) Crack eggs 3) Prepare the raw ingredients 4) Learn how to cook white rice properly I won't say cooking is a science. Its more like an art. Go by feeling. Once you get the feeling right, you won't even need to measure out...

    Wanting to learn cooking...

There's another way if you are a student, on holidays or unemployed. Work in a fast food restaurant. You will pick up the art of cooking.... VERY FAST. And since you will be stung by popping oil day in, day out, you'll be used to it till you won't "Use the frying pan cover as shield" when you...

A Canon Rebel DSLR falls off skydiver's helmet and plummets 3000ft to the ground...

Indeed. One gets sick of seeing folks moddly-coddly their DSLRs to the point where a single speck of dust is like getting hit with a nuclear bomb.

Is it true that SLR/DSLR users dun use full auto mode?

Well, fashion fads die off after a while. Juveniles can always want a camera, but its how long their interests last. A year? Two? Three the most? You have 10, 20, 30 years to outlast them 10 times. Time will prove everything anyway. :D Rather than getting angry and whatnots, why not expend...

Is it true that SLR/DSLR users dun use full auto mode?

Well, whatever floats THEIR boat my friends. Why get pissed off and earn another few pops of acne or frown lines? :bsmilie: Our economy needs some serious adrenaline shot in the arm. Huge domestic spending will give a much needed boost to our economy in the years ahead and when people lose...

Is it true that SLR/DSLR users dun use full auto mode?

And another thread that goes "To Auto or Not To Auto" Anyway, to tar all (D)SLR users with the same brush isn't really a fair comparison. There are times where full manual control is needed, there are times where speed is of the essence and a full automatic mode is very much appreciated. Use...

What kind of lousy buyer have u met before?

Lets see.... You guys seem to have forgotten the dreaded "LAST MINUTE PRICE CRASHERS". If you're a nice person, you'll get eaten. If you're a nasty person, you risk getting stabbed in the back for something that's not your fault. Either way, YOU DIE - Either in your pocket or your reputation.

I'll never look at prints the same way again...

Had heard about Lightjet & Lambda printing every now and then but as high-quality large prints don't really come cheap, its pretty out of luck for me. Had a little stroke of luck and managed to get a lab that does large lambda prints for a reasonably good price, so I went ahead with it...

Feeling inferior when using a P&S in the face of DSLRs

"The photo is only as good as the skill of the photographer." Did u see me mention "equipment" above?
