I been happy with konota. Their one hour service is actually even faster than one hour. Today was at brash basah dropped by shalom they couldn't even do it within 2 hours.

they had a good deal at adex i saw... 1600+ for group booking of 6, 8 days, board lodging and flights. if just going without group prices from about 2200, but still not bad as include flight and food.

i have a friend whos a canon user from australia. she was here recently and i took her to MS to check prices. based on what she could get on some online sites in australia, their prices were better there, even taking into account GST rebate

i think i have definitley improved since the advent of the digital age.. because you can instantly see and improve on your shots etc.. but i think, it did help that i started with film, because you did have to take more time with your ocmpositoins exposures etc..

if there was a right answer to this question, the losing camera maker would have shut shop long long ago. both have pros and cons. up to which suits u best and not anyone here can tell you any better.

i think it really depends... if you adapt the mood style into your own composition its ok.. but if you are seeking to essentially make a replica.. then thats not so good.

you can get decent bokeh on the 50mm that you will never get with the kit lens, but it wont be the super creamy type tha tyou can get with better quality primes. for me, i would use it for portraiture, and available light photography (i.e. low light) where i dont want to use a flash..

short answer.. 1/25 is a bit slow.. if you use the 1/focal length rule, your min speed for a 50mm should be 1/50. but if you really want a sharp pic.. should aim to shoot around 1/100 or faster. also, what do you mean by photo unedited? did you shoot it in jpeg mode or raw. if you shoot...

i am really no surprised. and i am also surprised why anyone would think that the article is unfair etc.. its spot on. lets face it, any normal person looking at the shoots advertised, would think the majority of us were all a bunch of chee hongs... the line has definitely been crossed...

i like the BSAC syllabus. and i think they focus more on core skills than padi or naui.. where its really about learning by rote and checking theb oxes.. but does it reall turn out better divers? im no sure.

the new diver GMT is pretty sweet. they are pretty decent everyday watches imo..
