One of the more unorthodox light modifiers I've used, a stone/boulder chair.. :bsmilie:

Canon 430EXII at 1/4 +0.3 power with CTO gel bounced off a grey stone-chair below camera left, triggered via Skyport.

Brought an umbrella as well, but wasn't going to risk the high winds 50 storeys up.. Just for that kick of light in the otherwise f/nothing light thats falling on me.. Though prob shouldn't have used the omni-bounce, and have it purely blasting at the grey..

This is my setup for my figurine shoots. Only have very limited space to work with, but it's still fun nevertheless. :)

I use the remote with my left hand as I hold the reflector with my right.

The result:

This recent one is more silly. But my main purpose was just to play around with the SB-900.

Elinchrom Quadra into 44cm silver beauty dish top left at f/8, Canon 430EXII with Light Red gel and Omnibounce behind at f/2, triggered via Skyport. Reflector gobo to stop light from the BD hitting my background. Composite image with water splash manually popped.

Like to share a series done late last year with some friends. Subject lit individually with mainly speedlights and ABs on softbox directly overhead and combined in PS. Kitchen shot had one light behind the window and one bounced off in the fridge....Model is the same in all.

I believe those are Manfrotto's 5001Bs aka the Nano lightstand, or something similar from other makers.. The Manfrotto's are abt $100..
